Seven award-winning Great Clips salons across Maryland and Delaware, one family-owned team
We're not just another salon group—we're a family-run business of seven Great Clips locations that's been proving since 2012 that when stylists succeed, everyone wins. Join a team where schedules are consistent, pay is transparent, and opportunities for growth don't require moving your family.

At Ten Sails Salons, we've spent over a decade proving that treating skilled cosmetologists right isn't just good for the team—it's great business! We control the entire Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland and Sussex County, Delaware, which means something special: every location is ours. When opportunities open up, our people move up—without relocating.
We're a locally-owned business, and this is our community and our family. We've earned multiple Main Sail Awards from Great Clips corporate, and we've built the kind of workplace where stylists stay for years—some for over a decade. We proudly support 70+ team members, from recent cosmetology graduates to stylists who've been with us for over 10 years.
Start at $16/hour base pay, plus tips and bonuses. Our average stylists earn over $30/hour, and top performers earn over $40/hour with tips and bonuses. Extra $1/hour on weekends. Your pay is transparent—no surprises, no complicated formulas.
Flexible schedules—full-time, part-time, your time. We work with your schedule, whether you need it around your kids' school or want consistent full-time hours. Life happens. Fog delays. Sick kids. Doctor appointments. We get it, and we work with you.
We're the only Great Clips franchisee on the entire Eastern Shore peninsula. Seven salons, one company, one team. When our Georgetown manager moved to South Carolina, our Berlin assistant manager stepped into that role—no relocation required. That's how growth works here.

Multiple Main Sail Award Winner
This recognition from Great Clips is rare and given only to top-performing salons. We've earned it multiple times across our locations because we do things right: for our stylists, customers, and community. These aren't just plaques on the wall—they're proof that treating people well builds a better business.
13+ Years of Tenure
We have stylists who've been with us for 13 years. When people stay that long, it's because they want to, not because they have to. That kind of loyalty doesn't come from gimmicks—it comes from fair pay, consistent schedules, and actually being valued for the work you do.
Drama-Free Environment
Our stylists describe working here as being part of a family—the kind where people genuinely look out for each other. When someone's child is sick, the team covers. When life gets hard, you're not just an employee number. You're part of a team that supports each other through the real stuff that matters.
"I've been with Great Clips for 13 years. What matters most to me is having flexibility to work around my family's schedule. I also appreciate the consistent flow of customers and opportunities to advance in the company."
"I've been here for almost 2 years, and everyone I have worked with has been really nice and friendly; some feel like family relatives. Also, Rachel has really been accommodating this entire time with my schedule."
"I've been with Great Clips for 13 years now. I love being part of the team because of the awesome coworkers and clients. Gary is amazing and always looks out for us. He's been so kind to both me and my daughter. Plus, the pay at Great Clips is fantastic."
"At Great Clips the steady flow of walk-in clients creates a fast paced environment where stylists can focus on building skills and confidence every day. You don't have to worry about building a clientele which takes away a lot of stress, and instead I get to focus on providing great service."
I've been with this company for 13 years. Although the career path I have chosen in the customer service industry comes with many cons as a whole, the positives always seem to outweigh, especially in the environment I work in. I love most of the team I work with! We’ve been together so long we are a family. I love my bosses. I stay because I’m paid well, and I’m appreciated by most.
It's good to have a team that you can rely on and have people that work well together, and it's a family atmosphere where people truly care about one another.
I’ve been with Great Clips for 9 years. The reasons why I’ve stayed so long is because I love the people I work with. Most of the clientele are great and the owners are pretty great too!
I feel like the company as a whole is very understanding that life happens and my teammates are always there to help out by either picking up my shifts if sick, or sitters can’t make it. I’ve been with the company for almost two years and have felt very supported in my career as well as my home life!
We're looking for licensed cosmetologists who want to be part of a team that actually cares. If you're tired of unpredictable schedules, confusing pay, and feeling like just another number, let's talk.
